RESERVATIONS

At reservation, we require a deposit of $500.00 per person. This may be paid by check, money order or by MasterCard or Visa via the Pay Pal button on our website. Download our customer information page, complete the form and either mail or e-mail the completed form back to us. The correct e-mail address is customerservice@openroadamerica.net. Full payment is due 60 days before the tour begins. We do maintain a waiting list for every tour that is fully booked. In case of a late registration, contact us by phone at 727-239-8205 for arrangements. Final payment is preferred by check, money order or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) 10 days prior to departure.  Final payment on last minute reservations is due overnight by Bank Certified check, Money Order, or Electronic Funds Transfer.

Cancellations- your deposit is refundable up to 60 days before the tour, less a $200 fee per person. If you cancel less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to the tour date, we will refund 50% of the tour price. If you cancel 30 days or less before the tour, no refunds will be made. If a tour is cancelled by Open Road America, for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all funds paid to us. We recommend that you obtain trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment. We will send you information regarding that insurance at the time of reservation.

Tours include lodging starting the night before departure, the welcome and departure dinners, selected side tours and National Park admissions. Rooms are booked as singles unless a couple is traveling together. Our hotels and Inns are chosen based on high quality, location, and our passed experience. Most hotels, and Inns now have no smoking policies throughout their property.

Your tour starts on the afternoon of your arrival date. Our launch hotel is chosen to be a short cab ride from the airport. After you check into the hotel, you will be transported to the Motorcycle rental site to complete paperwork, and to bring the bike back to the hotel. Please bring your drivers license with Motorcycle endorsement with you. The rental vendor will not release a bike without it. This procedure allows us to get an early start the next morning.

Motorcycles- The cost of the motorcycle rental is included in the tour price. If you are bringing your own motorcycle, the tour price will be adjusted accordingly. If you are bringing your own bike, please remember that the bike must comply with state and local laws regarding electrical and mechanical equipment and noise levels. If you are renting, the vendor will require an additional deposit. Usually, that amount is $1000.00 and may be as much as $2000.00. Generally a credit in that amount is placed against the card but it is not processed if there is no damage to the bike. Open Road America STRONGLY SUGGESTS the wearing of a helmet, abrasion resistant clothing, gloves, boots, and eye protection at ALL TIMES WHILE RIDING, regardless of the local laws.
