NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND TOUR

We pick up our rides for the week in Manchester, New Hampshire and head out on some great country roads for the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. After lunch at Weir’s Beach, we ride into the White Mountains to arrive at the Franconia Inn for our welcome dinner and our first night stay. After a morning stop for a tram trip to the top of Canon Mountain, we take the Kancamangus Highway across the mountaintops of New Hampshire towards our next nights stay in Errol, NH. More moose than people call this area home. Taking the scenic route, of course, we head for a lunch stop in Montpelier, VT. ; finishing up our day in Jackson Falls, NH at a 200 year old country Inn.

We start our morning with a coach ride up to the top of Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the northeast and then off on the back roads to Bar Harbor, Maine where we have two days to tour Acadia National Park and get our fill of rocky seacoasts, lobster, and the town of Bar Harbor. Next we follow the seacoast down to the Old Port area of Portland, ME for a sunset Harbor cruise and our final night in Maine.

The next morning, we combine some back roads with some scenic seaside stops and arrive for our farewell dinner and last night together at the Ashworth Hotel in Hampton Beach, NH.
