GULF COAST/FLORIDA KEYS TOUR

We pick up our motorcycles in Clearwater, Florida, just west of Tampa. After crossing the Skyway bridge, we head south on some of the best back roads in Florida, heading to our first nights stop and welcome dinner at Everglades City. We start the next morning with an airboat tour of the Everglades followed by a ride across old Alligator Alley where the alligators still lay on the side of the road watching the vehicles go by. We arrive late afternoon at our hotel in Key West, located about a block off of Duval Street for a two nights stay in one of the most unique towns in Florida.

Heading back up through the keys, we spend a night in Key Largo, one of the more laid back keys with a lot of history, great restaurants, and a Tiki Bar or two where you can watch another beautiful sunset. The next morning, we cruise by Lake Apalachicola on our way to the islands of Sanibel and Captiva for a night on one of the most exclusive islands in Florida. While on the island, we will take a boat cruise out to Cabbage Key where Jimmy Buffet wrote “Cheeseburger in Paradise”.

Our next over night stop is the Island of Boca Grande for a true taste of Old Florida. We ride many more miles of back road twisties and finish up our final day on the beach at Clearwater Beach for a farewell dinner and a chance to check out the powdered sugar sand beach.
