PACIFIC COAST HWY-SAN DIEGO TO SAN FRANCISCO
This is a fantastic 8 night, one-way trip. The cost is a little higher than most of our trips due to the great areas we are spending our evenings at. This is truly a once in a lifetime trip. We start our journey in San Diego with our first day of riding through the southern California Mountains and ending up in Laguna Beach for a great get acquainted dinner. The next morning, we work our way around the outskirts of LA, avoiding the traffic and interstates, and onto the southern edge of the Pacific Coast Highway and staying in Santa Maria, located in the scenic Central coast area of California. The next morning we begin a daylong ride on the ultimate twisties of the Pacific Coast Highway, ending up in Monterey. Leaving the coast we head through the northern foothills working our way to the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park for a two-night visit. After two days of riding in the park, we ride north, circle around Lake Tahoe and spend the evening on the shores of Lake Tahoe with its exciting nightlife and Casinos. In the morning, we head west down through the Eldorado Mountains, around Sacramento, to spend the afternoon and evening at the northern end of Napa Valley in Calistoga, California. The next morning, we ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to return our bikes in San Francisco.
