Livin’ Life On Two Wheels! That is the approach that OPEN ROAD AMERICA takes with the planning, scheduling, and service of every tour we offer. All of our personnel have been riding and touring for years, many years. All of our tours have been road tested and tweaked by our guides and our customers to give you the most pleasant, rewarding, comfortable, and memorable experience you could possibly have.

Whether we are touring the seacoast, mountains, desert, or somewhere in between; our tours are the best available for location, service, and motorcycle friendliness. The relationships we have developed with our vendor’s show on every trip. We search for restaurants that reflect local cooking and atmosphere. We choose our hotels based on convenient location and quality. Some can be a little rustic due to the location.  Most are 4 star or 5 star locations.  When we schedule local side trips, we pick guides who are truly from the area and proudly share the local legends and folklore.

Our tours are sized from 3 to 16 riders plus the guides. During the actual riding times, we stagger the groups to allow for smaller groups riding together. All tours include the motorcycle rental. If you want to bring your own ride, we will adjust the price accordingly. All bikes are selected with ample luggage space for your belongings. We also make sure that the hotels we choose have sufficient laundry facilities. We have found this approach much more efficient than unloading 40 suitcases at every stop.

Every tour includes the hotel for the night before the tour begins giving you more flexibility for plane flights and arrival times. It also gives you a little more time to explore the localities where we launch each tour. We also make sure that our daily arrival times include ample time to explore and experience the local flavor for that days stop, often staying in one town for two days because of that town’s activities.

Included are many meals on the trip while giving you ample opportunities to venture out and experience your own tastes. On those occasions, our guides will have plenty of experienced suggestions for great meals depending on your tastes. We include a great welcome dinner the first night on the road and another great farewell dinner the last night on the road. Many of the hotels we use have some sort of breakfast included and many of our side trips may also include a meal.

National Park locations are destinations in several of our tours. If we are entering a fee charged national park on our trip, a one-year pass  will be provided for each rider as part of the tour. That enables you to enjoy the benefits of other national parks in your own travels at a later date.
